Huawei's first phone with pop-out camera leaked
« on: April 26, 2019, 06:43:29 AM »

Hidden front cameras paired with all-screen designs are slowly becoming the next big trend, and newly-leaked renders reveal that Huawei will soon follow in the footsteps of Samsung, Xiaomi, and Oppo by launching its own take on the concept.
Set to be marketed as the Huawei P Smart Z, the upcoming smartphone features a massive 6.59-inch display that is surrounded by minimal bezels and a relatively slim notch considering its mid-range nature. This new front panel look is paired with a small pop-up mechanism that houses the front-facing 16-megapixel camera and sits on top of the smartphone.

While on the topic of cameras, itís worth noting that the P Smart Z features a vertically-aligned dual-camera setup over on the two-tone rear. This should be made up of a main 16-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Regarding internal specifications, like many other Huawei mid-rangers the P Smart Z looks set to arrive powered by the Kirin 710. This should be combined with 4GB of RAM and a respectable 64GB of internal storage, although this will be expandable via microSD cards of up to 512GB.

Other details apparently include Android 9 Pie and EMUI 9.1 straight out of the box, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a large 4,000mAh battery.

The Huawei P Smart Z should make its official debut sometime next month. The smartphone is expected to be sold in Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Sapphire Blue (blue). Pricing wise, rumors point towards a retail cost of around Ä210.
