Motorola might not make the most popular flagship phones out there, but for years, it has been making some of the most successful and loved affordable phones out there: the Moto G series.

Today, the Moto G series return with the brand new Moto G7 family of four phones: the entry-level Moto G7 Play, the battery-centric G7 Power, the main star of the show, the G7, and the G7 Plus, a phone that goes a step further and the only one that will unfortunately not be sold in the United States.

Here is a short summary of the new devices:

Moto G7 Play: entry-level G7 with basic specs
Moto G7 Power: affordable price and a massive, 5,000mAh battery
Moto G7: best price to performance ratio, 4K video, fast charging, $300 price
Moto G7 Plus: fastest and best cameras at a higher price, not sold in the US

What is special about each one of them and how do they differ?

First of all, here is what's common: all G7 series will come equipped with the latest Android 9 Pie on board, all of them will support microSD cards for expandable storage, they will have a USB-C port and all of them will have the good old headphone jack on board.
